Dominique is originally from the Auvergne region of France. He grew up within the catering industry as his father was a baker and patissier. After a successful apprenticeship as a patissier, a tour de France as Compagnon, and National service he came to England in 1982 and worked for Sharaton Patisserie then moved to la Maison des sorbets in 1989 as pastry chef then to their sales team. A few more years in kitchens of various London and Surrey establishments (Grosvenor house, Hilton, Simpson of Cornhill group, etc) until 2009 when chef for chefs was created.
The concept behind chef for chefs is to create a service that is tailored to suit the applicant within the client establishment and culture.
Dominique is still passionate about cooking and will be more than happy to join his clients in the kitchen if necessary. |
