My client, an elegant English luxury country house hotel set in an area of  natural beauty is currently   seeking to recruit a  Junior Sous Chef
Your passion for good food and cooking will be evident in your personality.
You must show enthusiasm but at the same time be serious about your work and career.

The ideal  Junior sous chef candidate
Will have very good knowledge of the sauce section
Must have good attention to detail and cope well under pressure
Have had experience within quality hotels and restaurants with at least 1 rosettes
Be educated to NVQ level 2 and 3 or equivalent
Be enthusiastic, creative, very motivated with a strong passion for fresh and local produces
Will be a Senior  Chef de Partie looking for the next step up their career ladder

The Junior  sous chef Main Duties
Supervise all activities concerning food preparation, kitchen and storeroom areas
Supervise personnel to ensure cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment
Maintains food quality control. Ensures proper food rotation, which will eliminate spoilage and waste
Participates in menu planning and food production to control food costs
Communicates with and assists back-of-the-house personnel to maintain efficient food production
Conducts daily food line inspections to ensure quality is maintained

You will be a junior sous chef who has gained experience in 4 to 5 stars properties preferably with 2 to 3 rosettes restaurant

The ideal junior sous chef candidate Will
Have very good knowledge of all the section while being particularly strong on Sauce
Must have good attention to detail and cope well under pressure
Have had experience within 4 to 5 stars quality Hotels and Restaurants with at least 2 rosettes

The  junior sous chef Main Duties
